Thai White Jamun is a rare and premium variety of jamun grown mainly in Thailand and parts of Southeast Asia. Unlike the common black jamun, this variety has white to light cream-colored flesh and a milder, sweet taste. It is popular because of its unique appearance, sweetness, and early fruiting nature.

  • Color:
    • Outer skin: Light green turning pale yellowish-white when ripe.
    • Flesh: White to creamy-white, juicy and translucent.
  • Weight:
    • Each fruit weighs around 15–25 g.
  • Safe to Eat:
    • Yes, completely safe and nutrient-rich (vitamin C, antioxidants, minerals).
  • Fruiting Time:
    • Starts bearing fruit in about 12–18 months after planting (early variety).
