Haribhanga is a famous mango variety from North Bengal (especially Rangpur district, Bangladesh), known for its unique taste, large size, and distinct shape. It has become a Geographical Indication (GI) tagged mango of the region.

• Color: Greenish-yellow skin when ripe.
• Flesh: Bright yellow, juicy, and fiberless.

• Seed: Comparatively small in proportion to pulp.
• Special Feature: Thick skin, which increases its shelf life and makes it suitable for transport.

Climate & Soil Requirements

Planting

• Season: Best planted in July–August (monsoon) or February–March (spring).
